Terms and Conditions

 By purchasing a tarot reading or other service from Ten of Cups Tarot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 

1. Tarot Reading Services 

 Tarot readings provided by Ten of Cups Tarot are interpretive and intuitive services intended to provide insight, perspective, and guidance.

Tarot does not guarantee specific events, outcomes, timelines, or results. Information provided during a reading reflects the interpretation of the cards and intuitive information available at the time of the reading.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and choices following a reading.

2. No Professional Advice

 Tarot readings are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.

If you require assistance in any of these areas, you should consult an appropriately qualified professional.

Ten of Cups Tarot does not accept responsibility for decisions or actions taken based upon information provided during a tarot reading.

3. Age Requirement

 You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a private tarot reading from Ten of Cups Tarot.

By purchasing a service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Age Requirement

Payment is required at the time of booking or purchase.

Prices displayed on the website are the prices applicable at the time of purchase. Payment may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe and PayPal.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and any information necessary to complete your reading.

5. Pre-Recorded Readings & Delivery

 Pre-recorded readings are prepared individually for the person who purchased the service.

Estimated delivery times are stated in the description of each reading. Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond my reasonable control.

If a priority or expedited delivery option is purchased, the applicable delivery period will be stated at the time of purchase.

6. Live Readings

 For scheduled live readings, at least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations or requests to reschedule made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the appointment and payment.

If Ten of Cups Tarot must cancel an appointment, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule or receive a refund for the affected service.

7. Refunds 

 Tarot readings are personalized services created specifically for the purchaser, completed and delivered readings are non-refundable.

A refund will not be provided simply because a reading does not contain the outcome, prediction, or message a client hoped or expected to receive.

If you believe there has been an error with your order or you have not received the service purchased, please contact elsie@tenofcupstarot.com.

If Ten of Cups Tarot is unable to provide a purchased service, you will be offered a rescheduled service where appropriate or a refund.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

8. Client Responsibilities

 You are responsible for providing accurate information when purchasing a reading, including a valid email address and the questions or information required for your selected service.

Delays caused by missing, incorrect, or incomplete information may affect delivery times.

Ten of Cups Tarot is not responsible for a reading delivered to an incorrect email address supplied by the purchaser.

9. Right to Decline or Discontinue a Reading

 Ten of Cups Tarot reserves the right to decline, cancel, or discontinue a reading when reasonably necessary, including in circumstances involving abusive or threatening behaviour, inappropriate requests, repeated boundary violations, suspected fraud, or requests that I do not consider appropriate for tarot reading services. 

 If a paid service is declined before the reading has been provided, the appropriate refund will be issued unless otherwise permitted by law. 

10. Health, Medical and Mortality Readings: 

Ten of Cups Tarot does not provide readings concerning medical conditions, diagnoses, prognosis, pregnancy, life expectancy, cause of death, or whether or when a person will die. This includes questions concerning the health or mortality of the client or any third party. These subjects fall outside the scope of my services and will be declined for ethical reasons. Questions concerning health or medical matters should be directed to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. 

11. Intellectual Property & Personal Use

 Private readings, recordings, written materials, website content, graphics, and other original content produced by Ten of Cups Tarot remain the intellectual property of Ten of Cups Tarot unless otherwise stated.

A private reading purchased by you is provided for your personal use. You may retain your copy of the reading for personal reference.

Content may not be reproduced, republished, sold, commercially distributed, or presented as the work of another person without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ten of Cups Tarot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or other losses resulting from decisions or actions taken based upon a tarot reading.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability relating to a particular purchased service will be limited to the amount paid for that service to the extent permitted by law.

13. Privacy

 Personal information collected through this website and in connection with your purchase is handled according to the Ten of Cups Tarot Privacy Policy. 

14. Governing Law

 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Canada and the laws of the eprovince or teerritory in which the eservice provider operates, without requiring that location to be publickly indentified within these terms.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

 Ten of Cups Tarot may update these Terms and Conditions periodically.

The version posted on this website at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase, subject to applicable law.
